Motorola Xoom : Another Tough Contender In The Tablet PC Market!
The Motorola Xoom is one of a series of recent release tablets and it will be released in the coming months. Along with the iPad and Blackberry Playbook, offering an attractive range of technology, all of which is useful in itself and offers a pill to compete in all others. From a purely aesthetic point of view this tablet is incredibly attractive, providing smooth lines and a style that is unmatched. It incorporates an impressive range of functionality and technology, including the latest version of Android v3.0, Honeycomb. The unit itself measures 249 mm high by 167 mm wide and 12 mm thick and weighs 730 grams in weight.
The unit sports a 10.1 inch screen, which is one of the largest available and within which has a resolution of 1280 x 800, as well as providing full HD 1080p. The unit is capable of recording video at 720 pixels, with a 1080p playback capability. The tablet comes with a 5MP rear facing camera on the back with dual LED flash, while a snapshot-style 2MP front facing camera is also available. The camera can also be used to record video as an alternative to the photos. The unit is embedded with a sufficient battery life of up to a capacity of 10 hours of video playback battery, while providing an NVIDIA Tegra 2, 1 GHz dual core as its central processing unit. The unit comes with 32 GB of on-board memory which is sufficient for most requirements.
Remote and local connectivity is provided under a micro USB connection, which is 2.0, Wi-Fi and Blue-tooth, which is 2.1. In addition, the unit comes with 3G and also equips 4G light upgradeable options. Applications include e-mail tablets, the functionality of Gmail, as well as a kit from the Internet. Motorola Xoom deals are about to release in the market by various leading service providers. Under these deals, the device can be availed as Motorola Xoom pay as you go, contract and SIM free.
