On November 7 2001, the D.C.O.A. held a special meeting regarding our vote on a land purchase deal that our union leaders were trying to get, so we could build a union hall. The land in question was located on Route 300, which is west of Smyrna, about 4 miles out. The purchase price was $120,000 for 15 acres of land.
Two meetings were held. The first at 12 P.M. and the second at 7 P.M.
