Vol. 1, No. 2 August 2007

From COAD President Stephen Martelli
The first thing I like to clarify is the rumor of 247- P&P overtime, COAD is the blame. 247 Hazzard is misleading in- formation. He was told by Commissioner Carl Danberg, two months, it was going to stop, Commissioner Danberg deci- sion read memo. Negotiations for August we are waiting for a date because the Bill was just passed, August 2nd signed by Governor Minner. Thomas Ridgley and I have met with outside organizations to try to stop the attacks , favoritism against COAD membership. In the coming months LT. Car- ney, will be speaking at our union meeting, so if there’s something on your mind come out & express it.

SCI continues to be short staffed. Hopefully freezing will not become an issue.
Remember, if you accept overtime and become unavailable, please give as much notice as possible to allow time to find a replacement. Call-offs and unfilled overtime may lead to the dreaded "freezing," so please be
