SMYRNA- Four correctional officers are recovering after being attacked by an inmate.
Officials say it happened Monday night at the Delaware Correctional Center near Smyrna when inmate Kevin Dickens refused to give back his dinner tray.
They say the guard entered the cell to get it and was attacked.
Three others responded and suffered minor injuries.
Officials say charges against the inmate are pending.
