Prison officials want a computerized tracking system for Delaware inmates, but they need more money.
12 million dollars has been set-aside for the Delaware Automated Correctional System since 1997.
It's already two years behind.
When fully in place by March of 2003 the system is supposed to provide virtually every piece of information on an inmate.
Prison officials say they need another 4.4 million dollars.
Legislative budget writers say they need more information before approving the funds.
