Delaware prisons won't have a lock on as much money next year. And that means fewer people guarding the state's most dangerous criminals. The governor wants to cut 1.2 million dollars from first state prisons. That means several correctional officer positions will go un-filled. But officials say don't worry about security. (Stanley Taylor, Jr. - DE CORRECTIONS COMMISSIONER): The offenders would not notice the difference in the areas where we're trimming costs. And the hope and the expectation is that the economy recovers and that the revenue is restored and that we can resupply the areas that we're delaying purchases for now. Lawmakers debate the governor's budget over the next several weeks. Then vote on the final version.
